The city has an amazing power to be sunny during Sundays, which is one of the reasons people head outside. There are many things to do in San Francisco on Sundays. Here are three of my favorite spots that are happening only on Sundays.
Alameda Point Antiques Faire
If you enjoy vintage and antiques, I recommend taking a ferry from San Francisco to Alameda. Alameda holds a massive outside antique faire every first Sunday of the month. Over 800 dealers set their booths and come all over California to sell at least 20 years old furniture, design, and clothing. If you are as enthusiastic about vintage as I am, you end up spending hours at Alameda Point Antique Faire. Furthermore, I have good news! You’ll find food trucks in the market area to have a quick bite before returning back to exploring booths. And remember, the early bird catches the warm: The Antique Fair opens at 6am.
The area has a free parking and shuttle service. The walk from the ferry is less than a mile to the gates. If you are planning to get something big, I would recommend renting a car. Many of the dealers don’t offer delivery.
Fort Mason Center Farmers’ Market
Every Sunday in Fort Mason, Marina: The place to buy fresh vegetables and affordable flowers. The market is great for people watching, and lunching. If you don’t end up getting lunch from the market, make sure to book a table from Radhouse. Enjoy a fresh Hugo- cocktail, and have a bowl or avocado toast, while admiring the fabulous view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Presidio Picnic
Presidio Picnic is held on Presidio Park where you can enjoy yoga, games, international food trucks and live music with friends and family. The park has a view of the bay. If you want to have a free yoga class make sure to be at the park before 11AM when the class starts. Event hough the park has some seating, it’s very limited: Make sure to bring your own picnic gear. The picnic ends at 4PM and is held only from the end of March till October.
